TREATMENTS
I work with people who have often tried other forms of therapy without achieving the results they needed.
Often we are seeking change but do not know how to achieve it. Whether you wish to resolve specific issues within a short-term time frame, and/or to develop more complex and far reaching goals over the longer term. This therapy will give you the clarity and strength to find your actual potential.
I can guide you to find the resources to unlock the right set of changes, to develop a fluid, friendly and meaningful relationship with yourself. Whether by letting go of stress and anxiety, poor self-esteem, depression, fears, phobias, negative beliefs, insomnia, feeling stuck or lost, or becoming self-confident and effective in your everyday life, both at work, with your partner, your creative pursuits, and onwards, with new and exciting projects.
Rather than listing what I can help you address, please ring: we will have a have a one-to-one initial telephone conversation where we can explore your needs and how best I can help you.

FAQ
As the word suggest it is the practice of utilising hypnosis in a curative therapeutic setting, therefore it is therapy carried out in the state of hypnosis. It is not a new therapy, it exists under different names all over the world and across all human cultures, where it has been helping people for approximately the past 5000 years! In Europe and the U.K. it started around the 18th century, it is older than psychotherapy and the first form of modern psychotherapy developed.
Hypnosis is a state of consciousness that is different than the waking state, just like dream is a state of consciousness, and meditation. It is entirely natural, and generally very pleasant, and a powerful means of enhancing mind-body control and communication. Hypnosis acts on multiple brain regions connected with perception and regulation, thus allowing a different communication between sensory processing and emotional response.
Not at all, you will be very much in control. You will be aware of what is happening, and will recall what you experienced. At times your mind will wonder off, at times, just like it does naturally everyday when you become distracted or when you remember something interesting and lose track of what you are doing in the here and now.
Hypnosis allows for deep self-exploration and healing, it is helpful to anyone who is seeking change in their lives. It works very well on both physical, emotional and behavioural issues, allowing for a greater sense of fulfilment and a more meaningful experience of life.
Hypnotherapy is completely safe, entirely natural, and generally a very pleasant experience.
Everyone who can think can be hypnotised, therefore only those severely brain damaged cannot be hypnotised.
As everyone is different, treatment times vary from person to person, based on the complexity of the issue and on the progress made. Most of my clients notice beneficial changes after the first session, others may benefit from further support. Often, a problem that has been causing many years of stress and discomfort can be relieved in just a few sessions. My aim is always to achieve results in the most effective time frame possible.
Sessions are one hour in duration and spread about a week or two apart in most cases. This depends on the type of problem and on the progress made. I often see clients once a week, however some clients will see me once a fortnight or even once a month depending on their circumstances.
People cluck like chicken in hypnosis on TELEVISION, a bit like people fly in the movies. These kind of stunts are entirely irrelevant to therapy. You cannot be made to do anything against your ethical beliefs or judgement whilst you are in hypnosis. I will provide a caring, professional and friendly environment for you to explore your healing.
